the movie is coming along very nicely..pretty stoked with what we came out with..given the flat conditions all summer and no chance for us to take trips because of our poor financial status as vagabonds and college undergraduates haha

stoked to see what tegans been working on...a soulful approach. something we could all take into the water with us!


did my first tow-ats....first surfboard i ever had..5'2
didnt get great footage of the tow-ats..pretty bummed..but it was def. a learning curve behind the lens and behind the ski HA!

soo much harder than i thought haha

-this film documents texas surf in the summertime when the waves are generally smaller so we bust out the ole' trusty logs and various shapes collecting dust in the garage..also, got some boat footage from when the waves are ________flatttttt+ extra footage from the Surf Camp for the Disabled presented by the Surfrider Foundation who will be accepting donations all night!

no new material...slacking.
been working a little more lately..and waves havnt been too hot.
speaking of hot..way too hot to skate...105-110 heat indexes lately!

gotta run to austin for some family stuff...tegan comes back to the coast in a week..filming will resume
plus some water shots...first attempts atleast haha

i need to find a balance between business and playtime...cause i need to get down to business and start editing some clips..been having way too much fun with the crew haaha!! let it continue into austin tonight!

leave ya with something i made for the guys at super...did a sesh with them at seaside in not real good waves..

DANCING ON WATER...

today marks the first day of logging ( no pun intended) footage for my video dancing on water..
tegan, frankchop, and I went out to northside packery and caught some really fun waves..not the best conditions, but we def. made due with what was to be had..some nice waves were coming though..

back in TEJAS

well it was not a very eventful drive..but i guess thats good? 20 hour drive from carlsbad california to austin texas..
micah got pulled over, but the tx ranger just gave him a howdy do, a warning, and a have a goodun sir.. was a pretty drive though...for how long it was, it went really smoothly and wasn't that bad..some parts of the land we drove through were just blooming with flowers and just green everywhere..pleasant on the eyess.

got to austin about 8:00 in the evening and went and hung out with some good buddies of ours..went to couple of parties..micah saw the band DREDG at Emos.
our friend from california, JOEY who sings for his band Thieves and Liars, was in town with Dredg..he is their merchandise guy..good to party with a good friend back in our home..met some of scottyps other friends in austin..all good people.

saw a few really good friends in austin..had lunch with emily, rachel, scottyhaynes, jasongrove, and micah...tecate and modelo girls were hanging out free beers..it was great.

we drove back to corpus to find some fun waves at bobhall and packery...
already had plenty of good times..

so far..everything has been awesome. and looks like its going to stay that way.
