parko just defeated adriano in the final!! $40,000 richer and 1200 points as the he holds down the number one spot after the first contest of the year.. he usually does very well at BELLS, so lets see if he can put together a full year with this early momentum!
he just tied slater and fanning for holding 2 quiksilver pro titles..
adriano needed a combo of like 18 something points...stoked he finally made his FIRST ASP final...met and surfed with him at lowers last summer after the boost mobile, and he was really nice. humble. such a fastttt surfer!
EDIT: Parko in dying minutes of the final scored a PERFECT 10..,,he got a ten in the semi and the final.
i surfed SWAMIS this morning on my new SUPER surfboard I posted below..things is so SICKK..first of all was lucky to get swamis with 6 people out at most at any given time..at one point just four of us...waves were about thigh to chest high aand superr cleann..the board holds SPEED really well, and was very responsive..
some really good friends of mine get out here tomorrow evening for SPRING BREAK! jasongrove, rachelschuelka, and johnallen....cant waitt..
