met up with JOE JAMES today from SUPERbrand surfboards..they met up with the windandwave crew when he and hagan kelly brought SUPERbrand through the state of TX..we've been meaning to meet up but things havnt gone accordingly until today..driving home from eating at HILLSTREET Cafe in Oceanside, I see Larry"Wavehog" is outside at Miltons house across the street..these guys are oldschool TX cats...Milton has been living in Calrsbad for 30 years now..I am totally in with all the old carlsbad longobard locals now because of these guys haha..anyways park the van and head over to see whats up..and right there, I meet Joe James. hes good friends with me neighbors haha...we start talking about TX and SUPERbrand and all things related...to make a long story real short..i walked away with a 6'0 board to surf on for a while to try out and give some feedback..
im also going to be helping with videowork for the guys for things on their blog and what not...they are heading north on a company trip through Oregon for t he next 3 weeks, so we will see what happens when they come back down..
